AXIS PANEL SUPPLIES was incorporated in 2005 involving in trading of wood panel products.Axis Panel Supplie saw the opportunity in utilization of oil palm biomass to substitute fully or partially in the wood panel, therefore ventured into research and development of oil palm plywood manufacturing. After months of research, spending millions of ringgit into product and markets development, it obtained favorable respond from its customers.Our effort in developing of oil palm plywood had grant recognition from the government of Malaysia. The company also obtained a Grant from the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation ("MTDC") to develop machinery suitable for oil palm biomass production. After a year, the company obtained another Grant from Malaysian Palm Oil Board ("MPOB") for further develop machinery with higher efficiency in production, and to improve product quality. And very recently, our company has successfully implemented a technological breakthrough process that converts oil palm trunks into oil palm veneer for use in the construction of plywood. This success reduces timber log usage and cause to enhance forest carbon sinks; is in line with the global greenhouse gas emission reduction strategy and with it, the reduction in CO2 and CH4 greenhouse gases from the NOW reducible oil palm biomass.
