BRIKproducts commenced operations in 1994 and resulted from an association betBRIKproducts (Aust) Pty Ltden Pat Slee and Jeremy Leather. The Company was set up to manufacture and market light weight brick systems within Australia with Pat Slee having been involved in this market for some years previously. In 1995, the Company was invited to exhibit at the annual Japan Home Show in Tokyo. Today, Japan is the company's largest market, with the Philippines being a substantial consumer as well. BRIKproducts also exports to USA, Taiwan, S. Korea, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The Company still supplies the market in Australia where the lightweight product is suitable for first floor additions and extensions in domestic housing. BRIKproducts continues to supply a number of commercial and retail developments. The Company purchases clay bricks from all brick companies within Australia, but particularly Austral, PGH and QC Brick. BRIKproducts has mass production semi-automated diamond sawing machines at each factory as well as specialized corner-cutting machines. All these machines are built in-house and through our engineering design team have been gradually developed to the point where a very high quality product is produced in the shortest possible time. Bricks purchased are cut to either 20mm or 25mm thickness to suit our lightweight BRIKit rail system or to 20mm or 15mm to suit the BRIKslice (glue-on) product. Insulated BRIKpanel is the company's newest product for fast and accurate installation.
