In 2008 the company expanded its activities to develop decorative items, gifts and Judaica inspired by archaeological finds made in Ancient Jerusalem.
The company is owned by Elad, which operates the City of David National Park on behalf of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority. The City of David is one of the most popular tourist sites in Israel, rich with ancient archaeological finds that date back over three thousand years.
Company Activity:

The Company deals in the production, marketing, sales and distribution of decorative items, gifts, Judaica (menorahs, Seder plates, etc.) and jewelry (gold, silver, Roman glass, Jerusalem stone) produced exclusively for Hamayan by leading Israeli artists. Our items appeal to people of all backgrounds and religions.
In addition, the company publishes scholarly books on history and magnificent coffee table books of Ancient Jerusalem as well as the City of David.
Growth rate over the last two years is between 10% and 20%. Hamayan continues to increase its clientele to those outside of Jerusalem as well as oversees.

The Company manufactures (through work with artists), markets, sells and distributes products under the brands: the City of David-Ancient Jerusalem and Megalim Books.

Products are marketed through three main channels:
1. The City of David Store located in the City of David National Park.
2. An online store with delivery inside Israel and abroad.
3. A salesmen who sells a combination of tourist souvenirs as well as unique products to worker unions, commercial companies and others within Israel.
4. Partnerships with external agents and distributors abroad.
