In 1996, E and B Industries was established. It was first located in Banilad, Cebu City, Philippines, with a capital of PhP200,000.00. The lot was only 200 sq. m. with a monthly rental of PhP700.00. After the lot contract expired, E and B Industries transferred to Tintay, Talamban, Cebu City with a monthly rental of PhP7,500.00. Two years after, E and B Industrie rented a building in Tigbao, Talamban, Cebu City at PhP16,500.00 per month.E and B Industries is a small-scale enterpreneurship having five to fifteen workers. It manufactures furniture, involving woodworking, carcass-making, stone-inlaying, fiberglass, and stone-casting. The buildings, machineries, and equipments are all owned by the company. After the contract expiration in Tigbao, Talamban, Cebu City, E and B Industries moved to Tingub, Mandaue City, with an area covering almost 2,000 sq. m for the packaging, finishing, and loading area. This has been a branch of the Tintay site.At present, E and B Industries have more than 100 workers, including piece-rate workers, inspectors, office-workers, and sub-contractors.The suppliers of raw materials, chemicals, and other materials for production are still of continuing support to E and B Industries.Our products (xxxxx stonecast decorative and garden pots, urns, and planters) are presently being sold in large store systems as WalMart, Home Depot, xxxxx, among others.
