ISTOR AG, founded in 1964 in the city Frauenfeld, is the inventor and manufacturer of the Original istor SWISS SHARPENER. The Sharpener is 100% Swiss made and makes an excellent impression by its versatility as sharpening tool in the home, the garden and in the workshop. It already enjoys a worldwide appreciation.
Blunt knives and scissors no longer need to be discarded. With the istor SWISS SHARPENER they are sharp again within a few seconds. In earlier days travelling craftsmen moved betISTOR AGen villages to sharpen knives and scissors, but thanks to the ISTOR invention this can be done by anyone, left or right handed and in their own home or workshop. The actual secret is in the content of the sharpening stone: it is as hard as diamond and it has an exceptional wear resistance. The handle, which is made of aluminium, is extremely light, and provides an excellent surface for the printing of logos etc.
