MEDIN, the joint-stock company, having its headquarters in Nove Mesto na Morave commenced its activity on May 4, 1992 as a legal successor of the former state-owned enterprise Chirana.

The complex of production, auxiliary and administration buildings uses technologies and energy resMEDIN, a.s.ces that comply with the strict ecological norms.

A long-standing tradition of medical instruments production, founded as early as 1949, has established a know-how that enables to take an adequate position in the Czech market and also to compete successfully with foreign producers.

MEDIN, a.s. is the biggest Czech producer of humane-medicine instruments of all main medical specialised fields, including the bone surgery and implants for traumatology, dental instruments, both rotary and surgery.

The company's main target is to be a modern European concern that is able to anticipate the future needs of customers and to keep up with them by improving the Quality Assurance System constantly.
