Polyimide film insulating tapes, including Kapton tape, are specially designed for high temperature applications requiring a thin, puncture resistant backing. They are ideal for high temperature electrical applications in which a tough, thin insulating material is required for wrapping coils, transformers, capacitors and wire harnesses. They are also used as a cover layer for many types of flexible printed circuit boards and as a wave solder masking tape in printed circuit board assembly.We can offer polyimide film insulating tapes in custom width and length rolls or in custom shapes and final presentations.
