Torrington Zero-Lash Roller Clutch uses ramps and rollers to achieve torque transmission rather than teeth or steps that break and wear out. This eliminates the jump in tension that tippet goes through when typical pawl clutches hook up. Machined 6061 aluminum with a sleek black-satin anodized finish is extremely light yet highly durable. Unique large arbor stores line in a shallow layer so there is minimal radius change as line is pulled out, resulting in consistent drag torque and therefore less break offs.
