• The 48th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation was found On May 24, 1964, . It covers 224 acres of land and has nearly 1000 technical staffs, including 33 research professors, 191 senior engineers. It has strong technical force and its work covers various professional fields. It has various functions that include designing, manufacturing, final assembly and testing. It is a key research and production enterprise in China that is primarily engaged in the development and production of integrated circuit products, LED products, solar PV, magnetic material, new storage material, special sensor, SOI material, etc.. It is the only supplier of microelectronic device in China that is mainly engaged in manufacturing and selling ion implanter, a key supplier of photo-electronics equipment that is mainly engaged in manufacturing and selling MOCVD, the largest supplier of solar PV equipment and the largest supplier of magnetic material equipment. The 48th Research Institute has the complete “turn-key” ability for solar cell equipment it offers and its market share in the domestic market has reached 80%. the 48th Research Institute has utilized its advantages in technology and equipment to develop a wide range of related products that have been granted independent intellectual property rights. It has become the largest manufacturer in China that is engaged in offering solar photovoltaic cells, high-grade magnetic material, new energy storage material, special sensor, SOI material.The 48th Research Institute has been selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Beijing Municipality as a model company in the industry of solar photovoltaic and it also has been selected by Hunan province as a leading company in the industries of solar photovoltaic, magnetic material and new energy storage material. The 48th Research Institute has the ability of manufacturing 3, 000 sets of large and dedicated electronic equipment (including 1000MW complete solar PV industrial chain, 10, 000 tons of high-grade magnetic material, 5, 000 tons of new energy storage material with complete industrial chain, 10, 000 sets of special sensor, 50, 000 pieces of SOI material and 5, 000 tons of VN additives. The 48th Research Institute has passed various quality management system certifications, to include ISO9001, GJB9001A, UL, CE, TüV, NRE, etc. It is also the first special electronic equipment manufacturer in China that has passed the ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certification and the OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification. A large amount of electronic products，energy-saving products and environmental protection products are both sold in the domestic market and have been exported to clients in Hong Kong, Taiwan and a number of overseas countries, to include the United States, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Korea, Iran, India, etc.. To seek steady and fast growth, the 48th Research Institute plans to set up a super-large IC equipment engineering center of the international standard, a research and application center for active layer optimization and growth, a solar photovoltaic cell technology research and application center, an application engineering center for new energy storage material technology and a national key laboratory for special sensor, which will provide strong technical support to the relevant major products and will upgrade the independent innovation system in order to consolidate its leading position in the electronic equipment industry and the manufacturing industries of relevant products.
