The group is Arzoumanian family-company in Lattakia, Syria.It started all back in the beginnings of the 1900s, by Khoren Arzoumanian, who was just a kid living in Armenia when he was forced to immigrate to survive the Turkish Othman ruthless mascares against the Armenian Nation in April 24th, 1915 known as Armenian Genocide.He arrived to Beirut orphanage at the age of 11, later he moved to Lattakia, Syria; having only 4 Lebanese Pounds in hand, which he paid to learn carpentry and sleep in the workshop.By time, he learned carpentry Arzomanyan Trading Groull and opened his own workshop in the 1930s.Later he evolved to selling carpenry requirments, locks, hinges and glass.Then he stopped the carpentry workshop and depended comletely on trading. He was the first to import carpentry tools in Lattakia, including many very-known brands.TopAfter he passed away, his younger son, Vartan; shifted to production industry, when he opened Nail factory with just one machine in a rented workhouse. His work got better and better, and his share was 60% of the Syrian market.In 1995, Vertan began the constuction works in a town called Kessab, at the north of Syria.In 1998, Vartan&＃39;s elder son, Hrayr began the food distribution work.When Vartan passed away in 2003, his family (wife, two sons and daughter) continued the work at the same pace and progress.In 2004, the group entered a new market; distribution of car requirment products such as Lubricants, filters, petro-chemical additions of brands such as Total.
