It also conveys themessage that Asterisk International service compassion and care is profound to the People andPlanet without the boarder in all direction.Asterisk  was established in 2010 as afamily run Handicraft Company with the view of promoting the Nepalihandicraft  industry while providing employment opportunity tothe deprived, underprivileged community people, especially womenand ethnic groups by  making them socially and economicallyempowered.Started with few family members and few women artist, currently it has 32 regular employees among which 8are management staffs and rest are in production line. Among the total 32 human resource, 75% are women. Besides, Asterisk also has 2 local producer groups who supply us with highquality felt and Natural products . The company believes indiversification and therefore has people from various social,religious and ethnic backgrounds from different parts of thecountry.Our major international markets are America,UK, Canada, Germany, Netherland, Latvia, Japan, Australia, Denmarkand many other emerging markets around the world.Asterisk is  committed to qualityproduction and timely delivery.We along with our buyer are working for thesustainable future for the benefit of People andPlanet.Vision:To be  the leading  producer andexporter of  handmade Nepali  products of internationalquality .Mission:Our mission is  to manufacture  anddeliver high quality wool felt products and natural organicproducts  while creating economic opportunities tomarginalized, destitute and socially disadvantaged people withcontinuous improvement of production for customer satisfaction.   Our Objectives: To produce high quality felt product by implementing continuous improvement system; Design and develop new products to cater to the needs of international buyers; To create employment opportunity to the deprived underprivileged ,marginalized , ethnic groups,  specially women and differently able people. -       To buildand enhance the capacity of the producers; and-       Toconduct research for the development of scientific application ofWool and Natural Products.  Our Principles We strongly discourage any types of child labor and force or indentured labor.
