The Bartels-Langness Handelsgesellschaft (trading company) is commonly abbreviated to “Bela”. Bartels Langness Handelsgesellschaft MbH Co KG have been around for over 120 years! We clearly know our trade very well, as we have managed to succeed in the competitive arena and steadily develop further.

We, the Bela staff, consisting of more than 15,000 men and women, stand behind our company, which is owner-operated by Dr Hermann Langness in the fourth generation.

Our core business is the food wholesale and retail trade. In northern Germany 81 Famila department stores, more than 30 Markant markets and diverse bakery branches, among others, belong to the Bela company group. In addition to this, we supply customers throughout Germany and across the Globe.
