BIOLOGIA APLICADA S.L. was founded with a clear-cut maxim: the ecological balance should harmonise with agronomic ecosystems. The company currently includes a broad and interdisciplinary research team, basically devoted to all the implied fields within the development of new products. Biofertilizers and Bioplaguicides, such as botanical insecticides and biorational insecticides. Botanical insecticides are of great interest due to their organic nature. Thus, they are natural insecticides, not obtained by synthesis. Biorational insecticides are classified either as biochemical (hormones, enzymes, pheromones, natural agents such as plant-growth regulators, protein or sexual-attractive from insects, repellent, anti-alimentary and bioanalogous agents) or as microbial insecticides (viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes). This type of insecticides have a unique mode of action. They are not toxic to human beings, plants or animals. Their action is selectively processed on any species to be uprooted without harming other species. Moreover, they are low environmental impact-products due to the fact that they are composed of organic molecules which degrade easily, thus avoiding environmental inconveniences such as waste accumulation.
