CGOG TECH. (TIANJIN) BIOENGINEERING Co., Ltd. (the Company) is a Chinese-Foreign equity joint venture jointly invested and established by CGOG (TIANJIN) VEGETABLE OIL INDUSTRIAL & TRADING Co., LTD., CGOG (H.K.) INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD, CGOG SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CORP, XIAN OILS & FATS RESEARCH & DESIGN INSTITUTE OF STATE ADMINISTRATION OF GRAIN RESERVE OF CHINA. The Company carries out extracting, research and manufacture, and industrialized production of vegetable oils & fats (oil plants) and their by-products, efficient elements of natural living matters of vegetable by using of modern biological technology and technologies of fine chemicals industry.The Company is founded on December 8, 2004 and situated in TEDA with a registered capital of RMB45,000,000 and occupying a ground area of 63,560 square meters. The Phase I investment of the Company aims to build a production line of molecular distillation with the main equipments imported. The Company plans to go into production in December 2005.The products of the Company cover such industries as food additives, industry of fine chemicals, medicine and raw materials of health products and its main products include natural vitamin E oils (300 tons per annual), phytosterol (300 tons per annual) and fatty acid methyle ester(3,000 tons per annual) etc.The R&D Center under the Company, by combining with the domestic famous universities, colleges and other scientific research institutes and introducing the foreign advanced technologies, enhances its own capacity in absorbing and innovating the technologies and manages to establish a virtuous circle mutually benefiting both the technology innovation of the R&D Center and production, operation and profit gaining of the Company so as to continuously increase the comprehensive economic strength and development capacity of the Company.
