Dr Myko San-Health from Mushrooms Co. is the 1st European producer of medicinal mushroom products and among the world leaders in the field. Dr Myko San - Health from Mushrooms founded Myko San company in 1990, following more than 10 years of scientific study of medicinal mushroom health benefits.
We produce and supply preparations from medicinal mushrooms based on millennial experiences of traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine, and proven results of modern scientific research. During 22 years of operation we have developed and produce 14 standard preparations against cancer and viral infections (from hepatitis and AIDS to herpes and the flu). The list of our products continues with mushroom preparations for better cardiovascular health by regulating blood pressure, cholesterol and sugar, as well as preparation for retarding and alleviating neurodegenerative diseases, from Parkinson and Alzheimer to multiple sclerosis and different dementias.
Myko San Company is well known in Croatia and neighboring countries for the best mushroom products which have helped tens of thousands of patients.
Published research showed that Myko San preparations greatly inhibit sarcoma, carcinoma and melanoma. Human studies confirmed that patients with advanced and metastatic breast, colorectal and lung cancer with our mushroom preparations live much longer, tolerate chemo- and radiotherapy better, and enjoy a better quality of life. We presented these results at international scientific conferences.
We have also developed two tablet products; AGARIKON.1 powerful immune system booster, most suited for cancer patients; and MYKOPROTECT.1, very useful against viral infections. They are the most potent beta glucans on the global market.
Croatian Ministry of Health has registered these two preparations in 2010 as dietary supplements. Myko San is the first European manufacturer to successfully register medicinal mushroom products in Europe.
These products are based on our own research and collaboration with Department of Molecular Medicine of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute and Food and Biotechnology Faculty of the University of Zagreb. We tested more than 150 mushrooms and their combinations and found the most potent combination of medicinal mushrooms extracts.
The reputation and expertise of Myko San is recognized in the scientific community worldwide. We hosted and organized The 6th International Medicinal Mushroom Conference - the most important global scientific conference on medicinal mushrooms - in Zagreb in 2011. The conference gathered over 150 scientists from 38 countries, who presented more than 120 original scientific papers. Myko San is the only European company to receive this honor.
