ELA KURUYEMIS GIDA SAN. TIC. LTD. STI. was established in 1992 in Bursa / Yenisehir district which is one of the biggest agricultural center in Turkey. Our factory is built on 25.000 m2 total areay with a covered area of 5.000 m2. We also have roasting and packaging systems.
Sunflower seeds dedicated as appetizers are world s most tasteful and natural seeds; we say this, because the black sunflower seeds grown in other countries contain 45 50% oil percentage, but our sunflower seeds contain 26 32% oil only. Sunflower seeds grown in other countries are far from naturalness. And they are entirely hybrid since some of their properties are modified. Or they are genetically modified. Turkish sunflower seeds are totally natural as they are obtained from purely natural seeds grown for appetizer purposes. Due to the low oil percentage and natural seed growing, they do not cause any harm to human health and this is why they are extraordinarily delicious.
No pesticides or chemical are used in sunflower seeds growing in our country (except Tlifluraline which is used for Wild Herbs). Moreover, sunflower seeds produced in Turkey are not short and ball shaped like those grown in other countries, in the contrary they are long and luxurious. This property makes the sunflower seeds get crack much easier letting eaters enjoy it rather than making them suffer.
Due to the low oil content, after toasting and packaging its shelf-life and freshness are six months longer than the other appetizer sunflower seeds.
