Evita Banana Trading Co., Inc. is a business establishment engage in Banana and Pineapple exportation to Middle Eastern countries, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Evita Banana started its operation way back in year 2006 with the initiative of Mr. Hassan Najib Abbas, a Lebanese national engage in banana industry for the past 30 years. Its main office is in Door 6, North Palm Hotel & Garden, Km. 7 Lanang, Davao City. It has also a branch office at Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte.
Mindanao also known as the fruit basket of the Philippines. It is in here wherein the best and largest banana and pineapple plantation in the Philippines nestled. The main area where Evita gets its supply of bananas is in Davao del Norte, some municipalities of Davao del Sur, and even in Davao City. On the other hand, pineapples for export are harvest from Bukidnon.
Evita provides good quality banana and pineapple by assuring that the product adheres to the standard quality stipulated by its professional surveyors, quality control inspectors and with the help of Department of Agriculture. Evita Banana assures that there is quality control throughout the process: from the plantation, to production, in the packing houses, up to the port. Before Evita holds a particular plantation, surveyors of the company verify that the area of production, and the banana and pineapple being produced has a good standard of quality for exportation. In the field and packing houses, quality inspectors, examines the bananas and pineapples and sorts which products can be exported. Also, Quarantine Department (Agriculture) examines the bananas and pineapples if there is any pest or disease associated in the banana and pineapple production.
Evita Banana Trading Company is continuing in expanding its own plantation and by the end of 2011 we already started harvesting from our own 200 hectares and by the end of 2013 its target will reach 300 hectares.
