Fairlead Training was founded by in 1996, focussing on the use of large yachts to provide Outdoor Management Development Programmes. With a background in land based leadership cFairlead Trainingses and sailing tuition, the two were combined.

The underlying people skills and sailing abilities of the Fairlead Training team has allowed the expansion to the range of services offered. The majority of our business is still obtained through personal recommendation and repeat business!

With a small team of RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Instructors, Cruising Instructors and experienced crew with many thousands of sea miles behind them, we now offer a high quality service over a broad range of services.

EARLY SEASON PRE-FLOTILLA & ICC TRAINING
Prepare for your seasons sailing.
Brush up your boat handling; refresh your navigation skills, collision regulations and sail trim!
Formalise your skills and obtain the International Certificate of competence (ICC).
The ICC is recommended by the RYA and is certainly the preferred qualification within Europe as evidence of competence and as a pre-requirement for bareboat charter abroad
A day will include;-
Evening theory class
Overnight aboard
Days training/ICC testing

CORPORATE SAILING IN THE UK OR OVERSEAS
The Corporate Sailing market covers a broad range of events, from a relaxed day on the water through to an integral part of a senior management development programme.

Whether your event is for 5 or 55+ guests, our approach is to be versatile and think laterally about the use of the sailing environment and other resources when putting together a proposal for your consideration.

As a captive audience on the yacht, it is a great opportunity to chat with a number of clients in a relaxed and informal setting not possible on the golf course or at a rugby match!

Client Entertainment
On luxury days aboard, clients sit back and watch the world go by or participate fully in the sailing, the choice is theirs. Use yachts as a break-out session from a corporate conference or product launch.

MANAGEMENT/TEAM DEVELOPMENT
For true team development, the variable nature of the sailing environment, the operational functions of a yacht and the differences between individual yachts and their crews, combine to provide an excellent, uncontrived analogy of the workplace unrivalled in other team events.

YACHT CHARTER UK AND OVERSEAS
Sunscape yacht charters allow you to enjoy some of the most beautiful cruising areas whilst on holiday in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Sardinia, Sicily and Majorca aboard charter yachts.

TRAINING, ICC, PRE-FLOTILLA AND RYA COURSES OVERSEAS WITH SUNSCAPE YACHTING
All courses are run by English speaking, RYA Yachtmaster or Cruising Instructors. Live Aboard courses are on dedicated tuition yachts accommodating up to a maximum of 5 candidates per course.

Take a professional, English speaking skipper on board for the week, to show you the ropes, and act as a guide. This service is available at all destinations. .
