The gibby media group started out as lon gibby productions in 1983. Although it has kept roots in spokane, Washington, the company has branched out to shoot video in Russia, Japan, south America, alaska, Canada, puerto rico, England, SGibby Media Group, INC.den, Korea, Italy, and all across the United States.

More than a production company, lon gibby productions has installed and operated television facilities at the trw complex in virginia, in the los angeles coliseum, and at the university of arizona. The gibby media group continues to provide research, consulting, and engineering for its clients.

The company produces and markets many unique video products, such as the award-winning video "how to do business in Japan without losing your face. " this video is used by major universities, libraries, government agencies, and by corporations such as IBM, intel, the sea land corporation. The recently produced and telly award winning "how to communicate with and understand mental health" series is used by hospitals, colleges, and medical organizations. The children's video entitled "lenny the lumberjack" won a national award and is currently distributed by major video tape distribution companies.
