Grafitos del Orinoco C.A. manufacture propietary aqueous graphite dispersions that are excellent lubricants for mold releasing operations in the alluminum, copper and steel industries. Dispersions are non toxic, 0% VOC, do not contain biocides or degradable organic additives. When stored and handling properly, dispersions will not settle nor degrade.Dispersions have high graphite content and very high viscosity. Once diluted with water to customer's preference, they may be applied by immersion, spraying, brushing, etc. They adhere to the substrate surface when such surface is subjected to heat, this way, dispersion consumption is low as part of the film remains adhered to the working surface. Nevertheless, due to this fact, they can't be used on refractory materials or polished molds where dispersion is expected to adhere to the formed metal instead of the mold, such as in iron ore hot briquetting.When used as lubricants or mold releain agents in casting metal operations they give excellent results. We are able to sell directly to the consumer, but we are also seeking for dealers that are able to represent our products, mainly in primary aluminum producing countries like Brazil, Australia, Canada and USA.At the moment, we have an installed capacity of 500 MT/yr but we are able to expand up to 2000 MT/yr, in one year, depending on demand.
