GTM-Global Trade Mediation is owned and managed by J. Ger van den Hurk, who lives in ��-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. Before starting his own company, he worked as plant manager for several (road-)construction companies, in The Netherlands and abroad. In this position he was responsible for the purchase, planning, maintenance and transportation of heavy-duty equipment and rolling material. Supported with his technical background and trade experience, Ger decided to establish his own trade-company, htb-v/d Hurk Technische Bedrijven, in 1982. With htb, he focussed on the domestic market with the supply of tools and heavy-duty equipment to the building industry and consultancy in the field of plant management. For trade on international level, Ger established MSI-Marketing and Supplies of Industrial equipment. So far MSI conducted export projects in the field of landscaping, water-treatment, irrigation, solar-energy, food and heavy-duty equipment. Various projects have been executed in Abu Dhabi, Belgium, Egypt, Germany, Libya, Swiss, and Tanzania. At the moment Ger has connect the following companies to a Libyan company: BT-International AB - Sweden (a large Forklift manufacturer), Cascade Corp. USA (Material handling products for Lift trucks), ELOPAK Norway (Manufacturer of Fillinglines and PUREPAK cartons), Ingersoll-Rand Corp. USA (one of the largest compressors manufacturers and POLS Generators BV The Netherlands (leading generators manufacturer in The Netherlands).
