We produce our products using a UK injection moulder and assembler, who has a factory in Lancing, West Sussex, UK and Xiamen, China. Production at the moment is mainly in China.

Our company won the 2012/13 Start Up Award from the Guardian newspaper in the UK. We started developing the product at the Royal College of Art in 2006 as a student project then worked with health experts to refine the design. Production begain in 2012, with sales commencing on 2 July 2012. Since then we've sold into 19 countries and our product has changed the lives of hundreds of people by making drinking easier.

The product has featured in Reader's Digest Canada, BBC News, Forbes, The Guardian, Discovery News, The Huffington Post, CNET and Gizmodo.

Until recently we've sold solely direct to consumers and healthcare. Now we're scaling up the business and seeking resellers. We provide a full set of marketing materials for resellers including photos, descriptions and videos, some of which are available at www.handsteady.com/resellers
