Established in 1991, Hangzhou Shuguang Electric Appliance Co., Ltd.(SEA) is located in Hangzhou city, 21km away from the Hangzhou Shuguang Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (SEA)st Lake. Itcovers an area of 60, 000 square meters with total investment ofUSD 26 million. Production capability can reach USD 80 millionannually. Currently there are more than 240 employees, with about90 of college or junior-college level and 50 of engineering &technical qualification. Products include: epoxy resin insulatorsof cylinder, bushing, contactor, etc., for switchgear, vacuumcircuit breakers, C-GIS devices, etc., display devices,disconnected switch, SF6 component, current & voltagetransformers. SEA has totally 56 production lines, with one lineimported from Germany for one-step gelling & vulcanizationmolding of pressured liquid silicone rubber, and two lines for fullvaccum gelling of epoxy resin. It has pressure gelling equipmentsby APG process, 80 various finishing devices, full-sheildingtesting room and various testing machines such as voltage resistant& partial discharge testing machine, X-ray defectoscope, DSCvitrification temperature tester, high&low temperature testchamber, universal testing machine, viscometer, helium massspectrometer leak detector, horizontal&vertical burning tester,etc., Approved by ISO9001:2008 Quality System, SEA is the member ofTransformer Branch of China Electrical Equipment IndustryAssociation (CEEIA) and HV Switch Industry Association. Allproducts are qualified by the State Economic and Trade Commission(SETC), Xian High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute, as well asZhejiang Province Eletric Power Company. With independent center ofR&D and molding, resilience system of production management andqualification, SEA is capable of design and production of variousinsulators and relative products. It has developed supervisionprocess from raw material purchase to finished products delivery,and permanent customer track filing system for quality and serviceimprovement.
