Himalayan Snax & Noodles Pvt. Ltd. (HSNPL), one of the ventures of Khetan Group, started its first productions of its flagship brand Mayos Instant Noodles on 2001. Its board of directors embodies of Mr. Rajendra Khetan, Mr. C. P. Khetan and Mr. P. P. Khetan The plant is established at Banepa, Kavrepalanchowk - 30 Km east of Kathmandu valley and is spread over 4 acres of land. Instant noodles are produced here under technical collaboration with Thailand&＃039;s number one noodle manufacturer, Thai President Food Plc. The plant is furnished with state-of-the-art Japanese machinery from Fuji and packing machine from Tokiwa, Japan. At present the production capacity is 49.3 metric tons per day. After five years in the market, the company has been successful to increase its market to approximately 44% of the total noodle industry of Nepal. The Company is No.1 in 75 GM and also 50 GM segment. The company provides direct employment to 323 people and indirectly to 1,000 more Diversification into products such as chocolates, tea and wafer biscuit plans are already under progress.
