Turkish - Uzbek Joint-venture «OSIYO BATAREYA» was established in2000 with total amount charter capital of US $ 400 000. In thebeginning, the company has carried out trading by importingconsumer goods from all over the world. In 2002, along withcommercial activities, the company began to produce batteries onlyfor cars, but soon, mastered the production of batteries for alltypes of transport, which meet international quality standards ISO9001. For the first years of activity the company has become theone and largest manufacturer of these products among the CIScountries. Since 2003 it was established export supplying ofbatteries to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan.Through thorough market research of the local market and abroad byhighly qualified specialists, it has manifested the need forproducts with high elasticity, toughness, and strength. In order toprovide consumers with high quality goods, in 2005, the companybegan to produce consumer goods and polypropylene pipes andfittings, patented under the brand name «Asia plast», made ofhigh-strength polymer 3 types: "Random copolymer", by consolidatingthe molecular structure of polypropylene and ethylene. The resultwas a production of polypropylene has a more elastic,high-strength, than previous counterparts. By the end of 2005, thecompany has expanded its production capacity from one line to 11,and by the middle of 2008 to 20. By the end of 2008, the companybecame the largest manufacturer of polypropylene pipes andfittings, plastic panels, double, triple cornices, skirting boardsand electrical boxes in Uzbekistan.
