Hasan KIRMIZIDAM who is the founder of KIRMIZIDAM Organic Food and Agriculture LLC , has started his business life in the middle of 70s by marketing and selling common food products and pulses which company is still operative in food, organic and conventional farming, export of fresh fruit and vegetables sectors.In 1996 Hasan KIRMIZIDAM has decided to drive his investments into agriculture sector and started to buy his own citrus orchards which led himself to constitute a new company establishment such as KIRMIZIDAM Agricultural Enterprises (KAE).In the beginning of 2000s KAE board has decided to convert the agri-production model from conventional system into environment-friendly production technique; ecologic and organic systems. This production model has been certificated according to European Union standards in the following period.KAE has supplied 60% of organic citrus production that has recorded in Cukurova Region in 2006. For conventional products subcontracted farming system has been introduced to group of farmers and groKIRMIZIDAM FOOD AND ORGANIC AGRICULTURE TOURISM LLC.rs as well. With the help of this system traceability of products from farm to fork can be supplied. Farmers and growers directed to national and international standards of Good Agricultural Practices and have their orchards certified by ITU and GlobalGAP certification systems.A new and modern fresh fruit and vegetable packing facility was established to achieve processing, packing and storage activities in 2008; KIRMIZIDAM Packing House. Thus, organic and conventional fruit and vegetables will be processed and packed in appropriate and sufficient conditions and will be offered to markets. KIRMIZIDAM Packing House, having state-of-the-art-technology electronic sorting and packing unit, cold storages with Ozonified disinfection systems has been extending its activities with a target of export oriented and competitiveness in a high quality sense in the region of Cukurova.
