Korvan was established in 1990 and separated as Korvan Co., Ltd in June, 1996. The company is located in Kimpo-city, Kyunggi-province(20minute driving distance from Seoul). The company manufactures, sells, imports and exports ferro-alloys and non-ferrous metals. Driven by the pioneer mind, the company has succeeded in production of Fe-V which was totally imported before, with its own and unique technology. At present in 2000, Korvan Ind Co., Ltd. domestic market share for Fe-V is about 60% Fe-V of all domestic market and export is continuously increasing.

Compared with conventional melting-type production technology, the company succeeded in development of its own pressed-type MoO3 Briquette production technology(The technology is mainly used in the developed countries). This technology can bring over 99.5% yield(as for conventional technology, over 98% yield) so the company can get advantage over price competitiveness. Also high productivity and pollution-free process can save resources and protect the environment to improve customer companies' productivity and yield during steel making process.
