The Company and Business Leatwool Collection is focused on the manufacturing of leather products. The strong foundation that has been laid guarantees customer satisfaction by making sure that LEATWOOL COLLECTION reliable, time efficient and cost effective. Due to the focus on work efficiency and customer satisfaction, we have frequent training on employees, favorable pricing of commodities, an in-house and independent quality control personnel and a quality design team that understands the rapidly changing trends and mixes of styles. Implementation Of New Projects Due to the need to keep up with the consumer’s tastes and preferences we have ventured to the manufacture of products using exotic leather. Currently we have started making products with fish leather and we are in the process of getting chicken, snake and ostrich hide. Mission and Vision Our Vision is to be “the certified leather and wool product supplier of choice globally through creating an outstanding value for customers and other stakeholders.” To achieve this we have dedicated ourselves to the Mission of “to avail top quality leather and wool products through focused research , development and value addition.” To materialize its vision and mission statements Leatwool Collection has been actively cooperating with the Leather Development Council and also the department of leather in Kenya Industrial Research Institute. We also continue to seek new partners who share our Group's vision and who will contribute to our continued growth and prosperity. I am looking forward to having a great time working with you on our way to Value Addition and endless Innovation.” Technological Development and quality control Current Quality initiatives In pursuing the best quality we have an in-house quality team and also an independent quality assessment personnel. We actively cooperate with the Leather Development Council and also the department of leather in Kenya Industrial Research Institute who assess the quality and design of our products and also alert us on the new development in the leather industry. We also continue to seek new partners who share our business vision and who will contribute to our continued growth in quality products and services. Measuring Quality The leather used is graded by both our in-house and the independent quality personnel. The manufactured products are also assessed. We follow up on the sold products with our customers to assess their performance. We conduct a survey every year to be updated with the customer preferences and tastes. Customer Satisfaction There is a quality design team that understands the needs of the customer and they are at the disposal of the customer. There is a follow up with the customer on the product bought to ensure it gives the customer the quality service required. Environment People have started appreciating the need to conserve the environment by using products which cannot pollute the environment. Leather when disposed easily disintegrates hence they do not pollute the environment .
