Company Description

It is my honor to introduce myself to you. My name is Lee, Young-Hee, CEO of L.K Medical. I graduated from the Department of Nursing Science of Chosun University College of Medicine in 1987 and have since been working for Chosun University Hospital as a nurse. During the period, I've come to understand through experiences that the Korean medical community is relatively onservative in that it has not only established high threholds against external changes but also has been afraid of making attempts to change internal working nvironments and even resisted them.
Like other medical professionals, I have spent last 25 years adapting myself to the established nursing environment and tried to adjust myself to the inconvenience. Looking back, I am thinking it takes too many years to carry my long-harbored ideas into practice in this community.

I am proud to introduce LK Medical Co., Ltd. disposable lock syringes, 3-way stop cocks and IV infusion sets, which are the brainchildren coming into being through my 25-year-long research and development results in an attempt to cope with inconvenient findings I had met during my nursing practice. I had the courage to knock at the door of the Korean Industrial Property office with a conviction that my invention might be of some assistance to medical professionals.

In my opinion, patents are not a preserve exclusively assigned to inventors and nor do they require special skills all that I need in filing patents is to change my way of thinking in efforts to tackle the discomfort and inconvenience of daily life as a nurse. And it is my hope that I can take the lead in bringing in changes to the community.

I promise that L.K Medical will give priority to the patient's safety and be all ears and eyes to the actual inconveniences of medical professionals and make utmost endeavors to deal with them actively. We will strive to grow into a medical frim that takes responsibility for the health of our people and breathes and moves forward together with them
