COMPANY PROFILE

MetroMed Management (Kenya) Limited was incorporated in 2002. It is a trading and management company registered in The Republic of Kenya and based in Nairobi. MetroMed deals in two principal minerals; Tantalite ore and Tin ore.

MetroMed is formally principally engaged in management consultancy & advisory services firm to Private & Public sector Organizations and Corporate entities operating in the Great Lakes Region. In the cMetroMed Managementse of our operations, we saw the potential that lied in dealing in minerals. We were occasionally approached by Governmental officials to market minerals on behalf of Cooperatives. Hence the birth of the present mission.

The Company is domiciled in the Central Business District of Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya.

The Company has a workforce of 5 key officers and 12 field and extension workers throughout the region. We have regional representation in East & Central Africa having appointed satellite sub-agents in Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, The Southern Sudan & Ethiopia.

The principal officers of the Company are: -

JOE KABIRU
The Managing Director, he has vast experience in management and marketing having worked with major multinationals both in Kenya and abroad. He has business experience spanning over 15 years.

GILBERT JOSIAH MUNGU
Administrative & Legal Affairs Director. He has vast experience attained over 17 years in private legal practice.

HON. ELIAS BARE SHILL
Financial Consultant. He has vast experience having worked in major multinationals in the last 20 years. He sits on the Boards of various Companies in Kenya and is a former Member of Parliament in Kenya.
HENRY NJAGE
International Trade & Insurance expert with over 15 years experience in managerial positions in leading multinational insurance firms in Kenya and abroad.

WILFRED MUYINGO
Minerals expert with over 12 years experience working with various international mining concerns and NGOs in the Great Lakes Region.
