Mines de kolMINES DE KOLWEZI SPRLzi sprl has evolved from its humble beginning group, we started out essentially in Metals & Minerals business, mainly in the export of gemstones, gold, copper ore etc. And even operations especially with the appointment as dealer of copper cathodes, cobalt ore, gold nuggets, dust etc. Gradually, the company ventured into trading of commodities like used rails (R50-R65), Heavy Melting Scrap ( HMS 1 & 2). The Company underwent rapid growth in the Metals and Minerals business in the next decades. In 1990, Mines de kolwezi sprl entered into a Sales and Purchase agreement with minning co-operatives to acquire the business and assets of the small scale miners , which launched the company into overseas export businesses. Mines de kolwezi sprl operates a small Gold Mine in watsa and around south kivu region. Fully Entraced in The Metals and Minerals business Mines de kolwezi sprl began a diversification exercise in 1997. This was to take up opportunities presented by immense growth of the ***** economies in which Mines de kolwezi sprl launched a few new companies. Our source have largely been from East and Central Africa countries etc. with Buyers coming mostly from Europe, Asia and America. Property The company’s venture in this arm started with the purchase and development of an industrial warehouse located in Dar es salaam. Besides leasing of office spaces, the company also leases out sizeable storage and warehousing space. The company has acquired several industrial plots of land in various locations in DRC with an eye developing them for industrial use. 3.
