Company Description

1998, Nikko, a Japanese manufacturer of air conditioners, came to Vietnam to explore business opportunities. After negotiations, Nikko agreed to give a franchise to local company which would use the Nikko trade mark and produce air conditioners to its Nikko specifications and standards. This means Vietnamese partner has to manage the distribution, marketing and advertising. That was how Nikko Vietnam took shape in 1999 to set up factory in Binh Duong province.
Nikko Vietnam now has a distribution network of 300 agents across Vietnam, and it is one of the air conditioner makers with fastest development of a distribution system in Vietnam.
Particularly after-sale services of the company is an important factor to boost its achievement in the past years, local experts said. (VN Economy)
