It is a system forthe registration, evaluation,authorization and restriction of chemicals, in short REACH.According to our current state ofknowledge, Powertrons products and packing materials comply withthe restriction of SVHC(Substances of Very High Concern) in (EC) 1907/2006 regulated bythe European Union. Lateron 2014, the US Department of Energy (DOE) issued a pre-publicationFederal Register finalrule. It is not only increases the minimum energy efficiencyrequirement of EPS from level IV tolevel VI, but also extends their scope to encompass lower voltageAC- or DC-output EPS,multiple-voltage EPS and EPS with nameplate output power exceeding250 watts. Inaccordance to the new efficiency requirement, Powertron hasup-graded all product line toLevel VI to meet the compliance date for the new requirements on 10February 2016.
