Company Description

ROMAR Inc. was founded in 1981 with the intention of actively participating in the transformation of the Turkish economy that used to be traditionally closed to international affairs and developments until 1980. The founders envisioned that such a transformation would require heavy investment in the IT sector. Therefore, ROMAR was decided to be one of the pioneers in this sector. For this purpose a young and highly skilled staff was gathered to deal with the rapidly changing and highly competitive IT market. To date, ROMAR has successfully pursued her mission.

The headquarters of the company is in Istanbul. There are branch offices in Ankara, İzmir, Gaziantep and Antalya. The branch office in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, mainly deals with transactions related to public sector and with the follow up of applications to governmental departments for the procurement of licenses and permissions (such as for import, export, investment, etc.). All branch offices are also executing complete “Pre&After Sales Services” by TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) licence.

ROMAR has wide dealer & wholesaler chain all over the country, which is one of the most effective distribution network in its own field. Romar also has its retail channel stores (Romarket Istanbul and Antalya) and online shopping site.
