UR Coating was established in 2002But we began exporting only from january 2005. We export the following products: -( A) Uranuss Rust Converter Primer: -. We sell rust converter primer. It is water based. It converts the surface rust by using up the oxygen and moisture on the surface of iron metal and converts by means of a (reduction action) into a magnetite (metal complex polymer compound) which is in passive state and cannot oxidise any further, thus stopping the process of rusting of iron. On completion of conversion the surface of metal may appear 100% black on new metal. You may also see patches of black and brown indicating the 2nd stage of rusting of medium density. It may also appear 100% brown on metals having very high density of rust. This feature indicates the stages of rusting of iron example the portion that appears black is indication of ferric hydroxide on the surface and brown indicates ferric oxides, 100% brown surface indicates higher ferric oxides almost reaching the 4th or the 5th stage of rusting of iron. Since on drying it forms a polymer film coating which has excellent adhesion properties this layer of film form acts as a immpermeable barrier between the atmosphere and the parent metal thereby it protects the metal from future rusting. It protects any further rusting for minimum 5 years and maximum above 10 years. Since our product has ph value of 6. 58 it is non-toxic unlike any other similar product from us or uk having a ph value of 1, 8 to 2. Our product is non-inflammable, weldable and has a shelf life of 2 years even after opening the packet.
