VALENTINA PASSALACQUA ecominded wine is a very young company which follows, as the name suggests, an ecominded philosophy: a low environmental impact production mentality which commits to enhance and preserve territory resValentina Passalacqua ecominded wineces for future generations. All vineyards are located at the slope of Parco Nazionale del Gargano (Puglia, Italy). This area have a strong tradition of viticulture because of the nature of the land (rich of limestone) and the favorable microclimate: the fresh plateau is characterized by a constant ventilation and a wide temperature range. The altitude of the vineyards goes from 150 mt to 200 mt, with a good plantation density a good yield and the pruning which make Valentina&＃39;s wines suitable for the Horeca Channel.Only 45 hectars of the whole property are vineyards. The remain 300 hectars are planting of grape (fruit), broccoli, cauliflowers, chards, fennels, olives and wheat.We also own 20 hectars used as marble extraction (serpeggiante).All the vineyards are cultivated according to a strict organic farming methods and our wine grape varieties are mostly native:Native Whites: Greek (Greco), Falanghina (2012 harvest) , Fiano (2012 harvest)No Native Whites: Chardonnay, Pinot GrigioNative Reds: Nero di Troia (2012 harvest), Primitive, Aleatico (2012 harvest), Negroamaro (2012 harvest), Montepulciano, Our wine, olive oil, fruit and vegetables production is certified by major certification companies: 1.
