HOME MADE DRIED SPICY BEEF (BEEF JERKY) is made from a lean beefthigh of 100% of Slovenian origin, to which all the fat is removed,cut into strips and then dried, which prevents deterioration.Usually this drying involves the addition of salt to prevent thedevelopment of bacteria on the meat and spices for a better tastebefore removing moisture. The word "JERKY" derives from the charki,which derives from the folk language of Quechua native Indians,which means "dried, salted meat".
