The Licensed and Audited Production Facilities are located close to the Asparagus Fields in the Pristine ?Clean Green? Bay of Plenty region in the North Island of New Zealand.

The Company has specially developed Traceability and Food Safety Programmes that are independently audited and verified by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority and Agri Quality NZ Ltd.  These programmes and their application guarantee full traceability of the asparagus, Spears from field to Factory and through all steps of handling and packing into the final coded pack.  Significant emphasis has been placed on product Traceability and Food Safety practices in the harvest field, sorting, processing and freezing and all final packing.  Zeals emphasis is on specially designed Product Traceability and Food Safety for Asparagus to ensure the asparagus products meet the highest customer quality requirements in the world.
Zeal Asparagus concentrates on capturing field fresh asparagus nutrients, taste and texture by sealing in Field Fresh Qualities under a Fresh Seal processing system.
