Company Description

"Alef-Vinal" Company started as an importer of alcoholic drinks. Later on it Alef-Vinalnt the whole way to a full-cycle producer and eventually turned into a real expert on creating and promoting alcoholic drinks within Ukraine.
As many other companies of the kind at that time, "Alef-Vinal" started from dealing with alcohol import.
In 1998 the company?s management took a decision to build its own wine-making factory. The initial intent was to produce wines of high quality that would equal to the quality of the imported drinks, but cost less.
In December 1999 the company had a modern, well-equipped factory ready.
In March 2000 the company rented, and would further buy, a wine-processing factory in the Crimean Bakhchisaray Region. The factory, named after Chkalov, owns 500 hectares of vineyards and a primary wine-making plant. The factory was reconstructed and reequipped within a short period of time to turn into a factory of future wine-making.
To improve and enlarge raw materials basis, the company decided to buy one of the largest wine-making enterprises in the Crimea in 2002. The acquired "Starokrymskiy" complex owns 750 hectares of vineyards and a primary grapes-processing plant. The grapes grown in "Starokrymskiy" are ideal for cognacs production.
In October 2003 the company bought one of the largest wine-making farms in the Crimean Bakhchisaray Region called "Burlyuk". The farm's vineyards include 1300 hectares of land.
Having ensured an extensive raw materials basis, the company rented "Baherovo" vintage cognacs plant in the Crimea in 2003.Within the shortest period of time the plant was reconstructed and reequipped to start making, storing and bottling cognacs.
Within 5 years the company has revived factories in Sinelnikovo, Pochtove, Pervomayske, Baherovo and reconstructed the "Burlyuk" plant in modern and productive ways.
