Founded in February 2010, Anhui Tosum Machinery and Electronic Co., Ltd. specializes in design and development, manufacturing, sales and service of vehicle (machine) air-conditioning compressor, automotive engineering machinery parts and other mechanical and electrical products. Its predecessor was the Auto Project Section of Anhui Dongfeng Machinery and Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. of Anhui Military Group. The Company�s registered capital is RMB 50.25 million. Anhui Tosum Machinery and Electronic Co., Ltd. consists of the Marketing Department, the Quality Department, the Manufacturing Department, the Finance Department, the Technology Development Department, the Comprehensive Department, the Machining Workshop and the Assembly Workshop. The Company also possesses 325 sets of finishing, assembly and testing equipment, including a variety of turning centers, processing centers, automatic assembly line, helium leak detectors and performance test beds. In 2007, according to the �civil-military integration� policy issued by the Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND), through market investigation and based on 40-year military precision machinery manufacturing technology, Anhui Dongfeng Machinery and Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (the parent company of Anhui Tosum Machinery and Electronic Co., Ltd.) decided to launch out the scroll automotive air conditioning compressor project. In 2011, this project was included in the "861" Action Plan of the People&＃039;s Government of Anhui Province and the Third Science and Technology Plan Project by the Science and Technology Department of Anhui Province. The Company also won the title of "Anhui High-tech Enterprise" in 2011. In addition, the Company&＃039;s two products won the title of 2011 High-Tech Products. According to the State�s industrial policy, energy-saving and new-energy vehicles are among future development trend. Thus, the Company started the research and development of electric, new-refrigerant and displacement-variable automotive scroll compressors in 2009. Now the Company is capable of outputting 20000 sets of electric compressors each year.
