BAZEN AGRI & INDUSTRIAL DEVET PLC produce Jimma Speciality coffee and process the coffee to produce washed and unwashed coffees. Each step of the chain is carefully managed to enhance the quality of the final product while protecting the environment. Ripe cherries are identified and hand-picked to avoid damage to the fruit, fermented, washed and dried for the right number of hours appropriate to the elevation and humidity of the area.
Our coffee nurseries are located inside the farm where sufficient river water is available w/c ‘Gibe” river is flows. Currently two nurseries are working named N1 & N4 every year about 300000 coffee seedlings are produced. Freely we distribute to the surrounding peasant association and refilling in the farms‘ve done. In N1 nursery site diversified species of shade trees are raised to balance the ecosystem of the farm.

imma Coffee is grown in Jimma, Illubabor and Kaffa regions of Ethiopia at elevations from 4,400 to 6,000 feet above sea level within the biggest catchment area in Ethiopia, an area that produces and exports about 60,000 tons of coffee each year.
