BioAtlantis Ltd. is a biotechnology company that commenced business in 2004. The technology platform is the provision of solutions to reduce problems caused by stress. BioAtlantis offers solutions to:
-Abiotic and biotic stress in plants (abiotic stress include, heat, frost, drought and excess salinity whereas biotic stress is caused by virus, bacteria, fungi or nematode attack),
-Stress caused by intensive production in the pig and poultry sectors.
-Stress induced in humans by unhealthy diets and lifestyle.
The benefits to the plant are in the form of increased production of beneficial bacteria in the soil and elicitation of the plant defence systems.
The benefits in vivo include an increase in beneficial gut bacteria and an immunity boost in animals and humans.

BioAtlantis headquarter is in Tralee, Co. Kerry with production facilities in Kanturk, Co. Cork Ireland.
