Bolivia's Fruit is a small, family-owned company that represents selected
rural campesino-owned groBOLIVIA'S FRUITr co-ops in processing and marketing their fruits, and in assisting these farming communities in obtaining a higher quality of
life while conserving low-impact farming in the fragile rain forest
ecosystem. Bolivia's Fruit requires that all products that it markets are grown, harvested, and produced in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner. Bolivia's Fruit is strongly committed to the policy
that each grower co-op receive Fair Trade value for their crops.
Bolivia's Fruit is dedicated to the principle of equal and fair treatment for all its employees and encourages ethnic and cultural diversity in its work
force. Bolivia's Fruit is committed to the placement of women in management positions when and where possible.
Bolivia's Fruit is owned and operated by two generations of the Camacho family.
Since its inception, Bolivia's Fruit has been repeatedly selected to represent Bolivian growers and processors in several international conventions. In 2004, Bolivia's Fruit and its products were selected by
the Bolivian government as well as USAID to be exhibitors in the Latin America chamber of commerce and industry convention held in Miami, Florida as manufacturers of Chapare and Yungas rain forest products. The same year, Bolivia's Fruit's products were selected by the European Community
(PRAEDAC) to be part of the Bolivian exhibition at the ANUGA, Germany International Food Convention. Currently Bolivia's Fruit is exporting its
products in bulk form, as well as under the Bolivia's Fruit label, to distributors in the United States as well as Canada and is scheduled to start distribution of its products to Europe in early 2005.
Bolivia's Fruit specializes in drying all types of fruit, teas, herbs and medicinal plants. Bolivia's Fruit also produces and markets several lines of Quinoa based cereals,quinoa energy bars, tropical marmalades, jams, rain forest honey and honey by-products, Fair Trade Arabica Specialty Coffee, as well as
certified organic Specialty coffee, Brazil nuts, cacao, and assorted chocolate covered dried fruits. Bolivia's Fruit's chocolates do not contain
any trans fats or hydrogenated oils, nor are any artificial colors, artificial flavors or artificial preservatives used in any of its products or processes.

Bolivia's Fruit production capacity varies from each product but its production capacity is designed to service the individual buyer as well
as the bulk container buyer.

Bolivia's Fruit is currently Kosher certified and is in the process of redesigning its plant and training its staff to meet ISO 9000 standards as well as HACCP certification for late 2005.
