The CHIBA Glove Company was founded in 1853 by CHIBA Gloves great grandfather Alois Chiba. While our past was in the production of fine leather gloves, our present day production focus is in high quality sports and safety gloves. We currently manufacture gloves for cycling, skiing & snowboarding, in-line skating, golf, fitness, water sports and fire fighting. The fifth (5th) Generation of the Chiba family is now taking over the business with the same diligence and persistence and with the know-how of four generations of glove makers. Our gloves have not only a high quality standard, CHIBA is also one of the most innovative glove brands in the world. As a German company CHIBA is very technical minded and we are focused on technical functions, innovations and a high quality level in design, production and delivery. A glove is not just a glove.
