TradeVerify Cimarron Composites has the expertise and capability to produce virtually any advanced composite structure you need.The majority of Cimarron Composite current work is related to filament winding; however, we have extensive experience with hand-layup, vacuum bagged hardware. Our 8?x8?x8? 500F oven is computer controlled for precise cure cycles needed by some materials. We also custom formulate resin systems needed to optimize composite performance in extreme environments. Cimarron Composites utilizes photogrammetry and white light scanning to verify dimensions and validate FEA models. Cimarron Composites has modern filament winding machinery and ovens to mass produce Composite Pressure Vessels up to 30? (762mm) diameter x 120? (3048mm) long. Our new 4-axis winding machine and fiber creel allows precise control of fiber placement and tension. The majority of the work is related to pressure vessels but we also periodically apply this technology to tubes, motor-cases and nozzles. Cryogenic TestingCimarron Composites recently installed a custom liquid nitrogen testing system that allows most of the same water based pressure tests as required for DOT applications, but it uses LN2 instead of water. This system pressurizes the test articles with liquid nitrogen while they are submersed in a bath of liquid nitrogen. We also have special chambers for the cryogenic burst tests and LN2 pressure cycle tests. The cryogenic system is used to certify new vessels and to evaluate materials in cryogenic conditions. Cimarron has a data acquisition system that is utilized to capture pressure and strain data at cryogenic conditions.
