Founded in Oct 1?, 1991, Clamper Ind. e Com. S/A, is currently a national Brazilian benchmark in the field of Surge Protectors. There are over 100 different models of Clamper's equipment for systems which operate on direct current up to ultra-high frequencies.
Product Lines:
1. Modules for Telecom lines - Surge Protective Devices pluggable on compact terminal blocks for PBX and high speed data communication (xDSL, ISDN).
2.Surge Protective Devices for Low-voltage PoClamper Industria e Comercio S/Ar Distribution Systems:
2.1 SPD polymeric with Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV)or  technology for connection on overhead lines;
2.2 SPD single-pole for alternating current (AC) or Direct Current (DC), DIN rail or NEMA jaw coupler mount, installed in the main distribution frame between phase and ground or between phase and neutral. Contains a disconnecting device which signalizes a varistor failure;
2.3 SPD with Silicon Avalanche Diode  - SAD technology with  Withstands surge currents up to 20,000 Amps (8/20us). Can be installed in main or sub-distribution panel. Contains a disconnecting device which signalizes a SAD failure;
2.4 SPD with high surge current capacity and precision on protection level for main distribution frame of telecommunications stations, Hospitals and others where service continuity is essential. They're hybrid 2 stage (MOV and SAD) or only one technology (MOV for example) on single-phase, two phase or three phase, with metallic enclosure for external mount. Contains an optically failure signalizing for each module and remote status indication (NC-C-NO). It is available models with different surge current capability (72 up 492KA?8/20 us)
