Computer Life was established in 1985 in the city of Thessaloniki, with main objective the provision and support of services in the field of information technology. In 1987 the company was incorporated to support its development policies. Since its inception the company' s activities regard services and products of multi-user information systems.

The business development strategy of the company is based on its human resComputer Lifeces and is focused on the quality of customer service through relationships of mutual trust. This strategy has been appreciated by its customers and today Computer Life is one of the largest companies in producing software and information systems in Northern Greece with more than 1000 installations and a strong presence in Southern Greece. The modern substructure (2000s.m. of new private owned installations in Thessaloniki and a branch in Athens) and the remarkable personnel (about 50 people) can lead to farther on development not only in Greece but also abroad.

The company 's focuses on the apparel industry. Since the beginning of its operations it provides its services in the computerization of all business activities of the mentioned industries. This coverage took place in activities such as product data management, production and exports and later it expanded in the areas of commercial and financial operations.

The company' s prospects and management' s will instigated the desire to try and give solutions in all technological needs of its clients. Gradually, it added to its activities systems such as CAD - CAM, production surveillance systems, special printers, job costing, time attendance, access control, quality control laboratories, provision of Internet access and the organization of business clusters.

Realizing the growth rate of the clothing industry Computer Life focused its strategy in vertical integration of its information systems and its mechanical equipment especially on this particular industry. The company acquired the exclusive representation of the CAD /CAM systems and CIM technologies in Greece and managed to develop high degree of know how in the clothing field and gain a satisfactory market share.

In 1998 the company brings two new solutions in the information industry for the commercial and financial management, PLEXIS and SMLXL. The PLEXIS software family consists of a) PLEXIS ERP for the enterprise management b) Plexis Agency, which is tailored for agents and intermediate salespeople between producers and final buyers, c) SMLXL- Emporio for managing trading activities, d) SMLXL- POS for the management of retail sales.
