DAP-VINACHEM Joint Stock Company has its precursor of Diamoni Phosphate Fertilizer Plant Construction and Investment Project at Hai Phong Economic Zone, being "Group A" Project signed investment decision by Prime Minister (at the Decision No. 626/QD-TTG dated July. 29th, 2002) with total investment captial of 172.385 million USD, capacity of main plant: 330.000 tons/yearPlant started construction on July. 27th, 2003 on the area of 72ha at Lot GI-7, Dinh Vu Economic zone, Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong. On Apr. 12th, 2009 Project has produced successfully the first DAP Fertilizer lot in Vietnam by the local material resouces of Lao cai Apatite.According to design, Project includes 04 main production plants:Diamonium phosphate (DAP) Plant has its capacity of 330.000 tons/year, produced as per the technology of INCRO-Spain.Sulfuric acid Plant (H2SO4) has its capacity of 414.000 tons/year, produced as per advanced technology of MOSANTO, United State.Phosphoric acid plant (H3PO4) has its capacity of 161.700 tons/year, produced as per advanced technology of PRAYON, Belgium Kingdom.Auxiliary system: Sea Port has its capacity of 10.000 DWT; PoDAP - VINACHEM JOINT STOCK COMPANYr Plant; Water Treatment Plant^At the beginning of 2009, Plant put into commissioning (after 25 months of construction), up to Apr. 12th, 2009 it has produced successfully the first high class DAP fertilizer ton. On Apr. 22nd, 2009, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has visited and declared the first high class DAP fertilizer ton produced in Vietnam. When putiing in to production, it has contributed importantly in ensuring stably and actively supply source of quality DAP Fertilizer for agriculture development and contributing to import quantity restrictions. Performing according to capitalization plan of Company in accordance with Decision of VINACHEM, after carrying out steps as stipulated, Company has organized successfully General Assembly of Shareholders established.On January, 01st, 2015, it has officially moved to operate as a Joint stock company.
