The hellenic essential oils & hydrosols are derived from Greek wild herbs and indigenous plants, and are mainly collected by herb collectors throughout Greece, who DID Donkeyisland International LTDre taught how to identify and collect each specific herb which is the most appropriate season, but hour of day, as well, so as not to lose the most volatile elements during collection, the part of the plant to be collected, as well as the method of drying it (if necessary). They were also taught the importance of following certain rules during collection for instance, to collect only the flowering tops and/or twigs when that is the part of plant needed and not to uproot the plants, as well as not to de forest the area or destroy other indigenous plants.
