Famicorp is an export abattoir with a workforce of some 100; this includes production, maintenance, managerial and office staff. The company has been trading since April 1991 at it?s present site in Deniliquin, NSW in Australia.

The abattoir is able to process 3500-3800 sheep and / or lambs per shift. The plant is capable of Halal slaughter which allows us to operate in a significant number of export markets as Famicorp Pty Ltdll as catering for the large domestic population of people of the Muslim faith.

Currently, Famicorp exports to the Middle East, Egypt, EU-ship stores, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russia, Sth Africa, EU-Meat Transit,Indonesia, Mexico and Taiwan. Runners and skins to China.

Famicorp operates under the AQIS approved HACCP based Meat Safety Quality Assurance program (MSQA) and AusMeat. All of which are required by law in Australia. Our company is quality driven and customer orientated.

Our lamb/mutton dressing system is of the inverted type which eliminates blood spotting thus enhancing the appearance of the carcase. Grain strain of the pelts is also eliminated which increases their value.

We have a stable, highly qualified work force, being the largest employer in Deniliquin. We are located in the middle of a major sheep growing area and are central to Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney as well as many larger rural towns and cities in Victoria and NSW.

Our plant area is approximately 24 hectares, we have an unrestricted Council approved water supply, our waste water management includes dams plus an excellent waste water dispersment system.

The local saleyards are also adjacent to the plant.

Our plant consists of a large slaughter floor, 8 chillers and 5 blast freezers, a large equiped boning room , an excellent runner processing room, tripe room, large mechanical workshop, plenty of storage, a very large and equiped skin processing area, plenty of ammenities,  etc.
